Connecting Beeboo to ChatGPT
Documentation / Agentic editing and connections
Use ChatGPT on the web and a Beeboo account that can administer the intended website. The hosted endpoint is https://mcp.beeboo.app/mcp; its published authorization service is https://auth.beeboo.app. Public discovery is reachable, but Beeboo's repository does not certify a completed ChatGPT connection test.
Check your plan and permissions
OpenAI currently documents full MCP support for Business and Enterprise/Edu. Business creation and publication are limited to admins and owners. Enterprise/Edu admins can grant selected members creation permission through role-based access control; only admins and owners publish workspace apps. Pro custom connections are documented with read/fetch permissions, not full write support. Do not assume availability on other plans. Custom MCP connections are web-only in the cited guidance.
Add the connection
- Open Plugins, select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server. The current experience does not require enabling Developer Mode first.
- Enter a recognizable name. Under Connection, enter the hosted endpoint above.
- Configure OAuth authentication. Review the risk warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
- Complete Beeboo sign-in with your email code, review the requested read/write permissions, and approve only the access you need.
- Review the discovered tools. Start by asking for accessible websites without making changes.
Legacy interfaces may instead show Apps > Create, followed by Scan Tools and Create. Follow your workspace's interface rather than mixing both sequences.
If connection fails
Check workspace permission, OAuth completion, and the exact endpoint. Ask an admin to refresh approved tool definitions after server changes. Do not paste a personal token into chat or request unsupported scopes. See connection permissions before approving writes.
