Adding, moving, duplicating, and removing blocks
Documentation / Page anatomy and the managed editor
A block is a content item inside a managed section or editable area. Use block controls for a paragraph group, image, Buttons group, gallery, or another supported item. Use section controls only when the whole container should change.
Insert the right item
Select an editable content area and use its insertion point to open Add Block. Choose the content type, complete its dialog if one is required, and review the inserted result. The picker includes Text, Buttons, Image, Video, Gallery, Embed, Code, Page List, and other supported types.
Some entries are conditional. Form requires the site's forms capability. Editable is a template-authoring item, not an ordinary page block. A missing option may reflect configuration or editing context rather than a loading failure.
Move or copy content
Hover or select the content item to reveal its block toolbar. Move Up changes its order relative to neighboring content. Copy and Cut place a block in the editor's in-page clipboard; use an available Paste block insertion point to choose the destination. Copy permits repeated pastes, while a cut is consumed when pasted.
Use a copied block as a new independent starting point. Reference insertion has different storage behavior; do not assume it continuously synchronizes with its source.
Remove only the intended item and inspect the remaining content flow. A Row is a container with cells, so confirm whether you are removing the Row or one child.
Template locks and custom source boundaries still apply. The editor does not provide insertion points inside protected content.
