What is Beeboo?

Documentation / Getting started

Beeboo is a website platform with a CMS for managing content and an engine that renders the website visitors open. You work with pages, collections, templates, media, and site settings rather than treating every visible element as one editable document.

A regular page has a real page header and a body. In managed design, the body contains sections and native content blocks, such as Text, Image, Gallery, and Buttons. The CMS also manages information outside the body: page URLs, navigation labels, availability, and search metadata.

Content and presentation

Several layers can contribute to one screen:

  • The page supplies its own metadata and content.
  • A page template can supply a repeated structure and editable areas.
  • Site settings supply fonts and shared presentation choices.
  • Shared navigation, toplines, prefooters, and footers surround the page.
  • An optional custom shell can replace selected shared regions while leaving native content editable.

Custom page design is a separate choice. It uses reviewed HTML and scoped CSS for the body, optionally with a custom page header. It does not turn that source into visually editable native blocks.

Start with one page

Select your website, open its page list, and inspect an existing page before changing the site design. Identify whether the page is managed, template-bound, or custom-designed. Make a small content change, review its saved state, and check the published address after committing it.
