Shopify products and storefront connections

Documentation / Media, forms, and integrations

The Shopify integration connects a store to Beeboo product pages. It is an optional commerce capability: confirm that products are enabled and available to your administrator before planning a storefront around it.

Prepare the connection

The connection form requires a store domain, a Storefront access token, and an Admin API access token when valid credentials are not already stored. It also accepts a label and product base path, with /products used as the default.

Obtain credentials through the store's authorized administration process. Use only the connection form for secrets, never public page HTML, images, or sharing metadata. Required Shopify permissions and store access must be checked for the specific deployment; the form alone does not establish that every requested operation is authorized.

Connect and synchronize

Open the products area and use the store-connection action. Enter the required details, save, and review any reported error. Existing connections can be edited. A synchronization action is available when credentials are present; missing tokens prevent the normal synchronization action.

After synchronization, inspect the product list, collection grouping, and last-sync information. Do not assume that changing product copy in Beeboo updates Shopify, or that synchronization is a continuous two-way connection. Treat Shopify-origin product data and locally editable page content according to their verified ownership.

Validate the storefront

Open representative public product pages. Check images, price, currency, availability, links, and the intended purchasing path. Test the actual store behavior rather than inferring checkout, tax, shipping, or inventory guarantees from a rendered product card.

Product structured data is conditional on enabled features and sufficient rendered product data. See Search visibility and sharing and Site administration and domains for related checks.
