Page titles, SEO titles, and descriptions

Documentation / Search visibility and sharing

Beeboo distinguishes navigation labels, visible page titles, and SEO titles. Each can describe the same page at a different length without changing the page's identity or address.

Set the visible and navigation titles

Use page settings for the navigation title and page title. A short navigation label helps readers scan menus, while a visible page heading can be more specific. These fields do not establish hierarchy: the root file still owns ordering and parentage.

Set search and sharing copy

Open the page SEO tab and enter the SEO title and description. Save in the intended content language. The engine prefers the SEO title, then the page title, then the site name. Browser document titles append the site name unless it already appears as the final pipe-separated segment.

The description prefers the page SEO description, then its summary, legacy description where present, and suitable localized site description. Blank values allow the next candidate rather than deliberately forcing an empty tag.

For secondary languages, missing localized site descriptions do not fall back to the main-language site description. If no suitable description exists, the engine can omit the tag. Search engines may still choose different snippets from visible content.

Keep claims accurate

Write a title and description that match what the page actually contains. These fields do not guarantee ranking, a particular snippet, or a particular display length. Changing them does not publish an unavailable page or add a menu item.

Validate the saved response

Reload the page and inspect its browser title, description tag, and sharing title. Repeat for translated versions rather than assuming the source metadata is inherited.
