Connect ChatGPT and make your first page edit
Confirm the connection is available
Beeboo's source implements remote MCP over Streamable HTTP with per-user OAuth, but its connection reference explicitly does not certify a production ChatGPT connection. Before starting, obtain the approved remote MCP URL and confirmation that your workspace has been tested with your ChatGPT account's connector capabilities. Do not treat example hosts or a source implementation as a working connection.
If no verified remote connector is available, stop at preparation and use the CMS or an administrator-approved local MCP client. Do not paste a personal access token into a ChatGPT conversation or substitute it for remote OAuth.
Prepare one safe edit
Choose a public, non-sensitive page and one factual correction, such as replacing an outdated sentence with approved wording. Record the exact website, page URL, page ID if known, and language. You need permission to manage that website. Read access permits inspection; write access permits changes and should be granted only when you are ready to approve this edit.
Connect, inspect, and approve
- In ChatGPT's current connector interface, add the administrator-supplied Beeboo MCP connection URL. Client labels and plan eligibility can change, so follow the controls available in your account rather than relying on an assumed menu name.
- Complete Beeboo sign-in and review OAuth consent. Confirm the application and requested
readandwritescopes. Read-only consent is appropriate for inspection. If the client requests writes immediately, decide whether to approve them; consent does not replace the page-specific instructions you give next. - Ask the assistant to use
list_sites, then select the exact domain. Have it readlist_pagesand the target page withget_pageorget_page_by_path. Require it to report the page identity and language. If a hierarchical URL lookup fails, inspect the page list and root ancestry instead of guessing another page. - Give a bounded prompt: “Read this selected page only. Find the opening paragraph and propose a shorter replacement using the facts already present. Do not save, change links, or edit other pages.” Review the proposed wording and its location.
- Approve the exact replacement and only that page's write. Require the latest
expectedPageModifiedAt, preservation of the header and unrelated blocks, and no settings, access, domain, or legal changes. MCP saves approved page updates directly; do not assume there will be a separate unpublished draft. - Have the assistant read the page back, then open its normal public URL yourself. Confirm the wording, nearby formatting, links, and phone layout. A successful tool response or a browser-only preview is not sufficient evidence of a persistent edit.
Handle access and conflicts
On a conflict, re-read and reconcile rather than overwrite newer content. For connection failures, check the approved endpoint, account access, consent, and deployed tool list before retrying. In Settings > Advanced > Agent Access Tokens, review connected apps and use Disconnect when access should end. See assistant connections and saving and recovery.
