Uploading and organizing images

Documentation / Media, forms, and integrations

Images are assets that pages reference. Uploading an image and placing it on a page are separate steps: a successful upload does not by itself save the page that uses it.

Upload or reuse an image

Open the image picker from the relevant page or design control. The picker provides Upload and Browse Existing options; supported image dialogs also accept an image URL. Choose a file or drag it into the upload area, wait for the transfer to finish, and confirm the selected image.

Image uploads use a one-time upload address obtained from the CMS and transfer the file to the configured image service. If uploading fails, check the reported error and the service configuration rather than repeatedly inserting the same asset.

For an existing image, browse the selected site's available assets and select the intended version. Use descriptive filenames before upload so similar assets are easier to distinguish later.

Understand organization limits

The admin images screen displays a thumbnail grid with filenames and deletion controls. The verified screen does not provide a folder, tag, or album-management system. Page galleries organize image presentation; they are not storage folders in the media library.

Deleting an asset is different from removing its block from one page. Before deleting, check where the image is used, including headers, shared content, listings, and social previews. Do not assume deletion repairs those references.

Validate placement

Save the edited page, reload it, and check the image at desktop and mobile widths. Confirm the correct file, useful descriptive text, and any crop applied by its placement.
